Oral Fluid Tests, also known as saliva tests, are screenings that detect the presence of drugs or substances in a person’s saliva. These tests are conducted quickly and conveniently by collecting a saliva sample using a swab or other collection device. They are often used in various settings, including workplace drug testing, law enforcement, and medical evaluations, offering a non-invasive and efficient way to check for recent drug use. Oral fluid tests are particularly valuable for detecting recent drug use, making them effective tools in scenarios where real-time information about a person’s drug exposure is needed. Common substances tested for in these tests include Cocaine (COC), Opiates (OPI), Phencyclidine (PCP), Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), Amphetamines (AMP), Methamphetamines (MET), Oxycodone (OXY, in the 7-panel lab test), and alcohol (in the Alcohol POCT Screen).
Mud Creek offers several panels of Oral Fluid Tests to detect the presence of these including the following.
- 6 Panel Lab – OF01 (COC, OPI, PCP, THC, AMP, MET)
- 7 Panel Lab – OF02 (COC, OPI, PCP, THC, AMP, MET, OXY)
- 6 Panel POCT Screen (THC, COC, OPI, AMP, MET, PCP)
- Alcohol POCT Screen
- THC POCT Screen
