H2S Alive Blended Renewal Skills Evaluation

Course Outline:

This Program is for current H2S Alive Certificate holders only. Expired certifications are not eligible for this program.

Pre-Requisite:

  • Students must complete the online program through Energy Safety Canada’s website approximately 4 hours online.
  • We will forward you the activation code so you can start the online portion as soon as you receive it.
  • Students must provide a copy of their current H2S Alive certificate when booking
  • Students must have a valid Government Issued Photo ID
  • Once the online program is completed they complete a 30  minute of skills evaluations with a certified assessor.

Skill Assessment:

30 Minutes for Students to demonstrate the following skills.

  • Pre and Post use inspection of SCBA
  • Donning and Doffing SCBA
  • 1 & 2 Rescuer Drags and carries.

Upon Completion:

Students will be issued a permanent H2S Alive certificate valid for 3 years.

Notes:

  • Participants must be able to put on a mask and breathe under air.
  • Participants must be able to participate in rescue drag techniques.
  • Students Have 90 days to complete their skills evaluation once the online course has been completed.
  • If Students fail to demonstrate skills or fail the online program, they will need to complete the Full day H2S Alive program.

 

STEP 1 – PURCHASE Class Slot

Select an available class date to attend. Select how many will be attending. Add to Cart. Review Cart. Got to Checkout. There, list attendees by Full Name with Phone & Emails in the List all Attendees text box so we can enroll them into the class roster.

STEP 2 – WAIT for Email Confirming that all Attendees have been enrolled

We will email you to confirm the list of attendees you entered have all been enrolled. We will also correspond with you through email for final arrangements, instructions, directions, etc.

STEP 3 – ATTEND Mud Creek Training Facility on the selected date.

Each attendee will then drive to our training facility and attend the class.
