Learners practice hands-on skills to build confidence in real workplace settings.

  • Overview of IRP 18 and its role in fire and explosion hazard management
  • Classifications of fire types and their characteristics
  • Common causes of workplace fires and contributing factors
  • Prevention methods to reduce fire and explosion risks
  • Inspection, care, and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers
  • Proper selection and use of portable extinguishers in different scenarios
  • Practical outdoor extinguisher usage under instructor guidance

  • Full PPE is required to participate safely.

STEP 3ATTEND Mud Creek Training Facility on the selected date.

Each attendee will then drive to our training facility and attend the class.
