Description:
The WHMIS 2025 Class provides workers with the knowledge required to recognize and understand hazardous products in the workplace. It explains the updated Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System used across Canada. In addition, the course follows the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) for classification and labeling of hazardous substances. This ensures workers are trained to identify hazards quickly and respond safely.

Course Outline Includes:

  • Overview of the WHMIS 2025 system
  • Classification of hazardous products by health and physical risk
  • Understanding pictograms, signal words, and hazard statements
  • How to read and use Safety Data Sheets
  • Proper labeling, storage, and workplace handling procedures
  • Rights and responsibilities of workers and employers
  • Safe practices when working around materials such as compressed gases, paints, fuels, solvents, and cleaning products

The classification system helps determine how hazardous materials must be labeled, stored, and used. Therefore, WHMIS training supports safe daily operations and reduces exposure risks. This course is suitable for anyone working with or near hazardous materials in any industry setting.

STEP 2 – WAIT for Email Confirmation and Follow up Emails

Once we have received your Request Order, we will contact you through email to make arrangements and to finalize dates & details.

STEP 3 – ATTEND Mud Creek Training Facility on the selected date for class.

Each attendee will then drive to our training facility and attend the class.
